Biography

Alexander Razon (b. 1997, Long Beach, CA) is a photographer from Southern California. His creative journey began in the pits of the concert scene, where he learned to translate high energy into still images. This foundation in music photography eventually evolved into a broader documentary practice, shifting his focus toward candid, unscripted narratives. Razon has since expanded into portraiture, applying the same gritty, observational approach of street photography to his work with individual subjects. With that same work in mind Razon has been part of many behind the scenes photography for music/film productions, utilizing his unique style.

Razon’s interest in the medium began with experimenting with film aesthetics through mobile phone photography, a fascination that evolved into a dedicated professional practice. While initially self-taught, he is currently pursuing a formal degree in photography. He is the author of two self-published photobooks by the title Visions.
